PolyMax PC

PolyMax is a family of advanced 3D printing filaments produced with Polymaker’s Nano-reinforcement technology, to deliver exceptional mechanical properties and printing quality. PolyMax PC is an engineered PC filament combining excellent strength, toughness, heat resistance, and printing quality. It is the ideal choice for a wide range of engineering applications.

Produced with Polymaker’s Nano-reinforcement technology, to deliver exceptional mechanical properties and printing quality; PolyMax PC combines excellent strength, stiffness, toughness and heat resistance for low volume manufacturing and engineering applications.

PolyMax PC is an accessible polycarbonate filament that has been engineered specifically for 3d printing. With compatibility and usability in mind this PC can be printed on a wider range of 3D printers. The high impact strength and fracture toughness of PolyMax PC enable production of high performance componentry that will be handled roughly or abused. As one of the stiffest unreinforced thermoplastics available, PolyMax PC is a popular choice for printing custom jigs and fixtures, replacement parts and end use componentry.

Features

Excellent Toughness – An excellent choice for engineering applications, PolyMax PC offers best in class toughness with much improved mechanical strength when compared to ABS and ASA and significantly improved impact resistance when compared to PolyLite PC.

Heat Resistant – PolyMax PC offers better heat resistance than a wide variety of material types, withstanding temperatures well above 110 ºC.

Improved Printability – PolyMax PC has been engineered specifically with compatibility and usability in mind. PolyMax™ PC not only offers excellent properties and print quality, but also benefits in printability when compared to other PC filaments. With a lower extrusion temperature (250 – 270˚C), PolyMax PC is an accessible PC filament that can be printed on a wider range of 3D printers. 90°C heated bed required.

Uncompromised Quality – Polymakers leading quality control process and rigorous in-house testing ensure reliable printing and consistency across spools and batches.
